What’s New
• Fixed an issue where players would be able to play with an invalid number of a single card in their deck. • Fixed an issue against the AI where the 'Finish' button would not be selectable after casting some spells. • Fixed a softlock that occurred when a player manually tapped certain lands for mana, then zoomed in and out on a card before making a selection of which color of mana to add. • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented a player from leaving a match when an opponent conceded when a vehicle prompted a player to choose a vehicle's crew targets. • Fixed an issue where some lands would disappear from the card collection after being removed from a deck list. • Fixed an issue where Altered Ego would enter the battlefield with the incorrect number of +1/+1 counters if it targeted a creature with +1/+1 counters on it. • Fixed an issue where a player targeted by Combustible Gearhulk's ability would not have a visible decision timer. • Fixed an issue where it appeared that Ormendahl, Profane Prince was tapped after transforming from Westvale Abbey. • Fixed an issue where Nissa's Judgment dealt damage before the +1/+1 counters were placed on creatures. • Fixed an issue where a token copy of Greenwarden of Murasa could be exiled to return a card a card to a player's hand. • Fixed an issue where spells redirected from Silverfur Partisan to another Wolf/Werewolf failed to cause the Partisan's ability to trigger again. • Fixed an issue where some cards that have flying or grant flying didn't appear in the 'Flying' filter of the deck builder. • Fixed an issue when editing an invalid deck that would bring the player to the wrong deckbuilding screen. • Fixed an issue in the single-player campaign where Tezzeret would sometimes sacrifice his Planar Bridge to destroy Gideon Jura. That's excessive, even for him. • Fixed an issue on iOS where some players would crash upon entering a Versus match or a match with some kinds of decks.

Very close to being a great app
Definitely nice to have an app with the rules of the game built into it. Free with fun and lengthy story modes. Biggest issue was this: when you’re playing a mobile game you aren’t going to be able to play for 15+ minutes at a given time. More than half the time if I ever put the game down by simply locking my phone, I would come back and finish a long game of magic, and then you would discover AFTERWARDS that you’d been disconnected from the server and that the game you played didn’t count and you’d have to replay it again. I played the same stage in a story mode over a dozen time and I had to uninstall. I do also think that the timer system of how priority is passed from player to player isn’t the way to go about it. I missed a lot of opportunities where I wanted to activate an ability where I’d missed the window, or didn’t understand if I was responding to something being casted OR if the opponent was simply passing their turn. After a while I definitely got better at understanding the UI, but I think an option of HAVING to hit a button to pass priority back to your opponent (at least during offline AI play) would be a good idea bc then you don’t have to wait the handful of seconds every time something happens in game that where aren’t going to do anything, and it makes it feel a little more like a normal game. I understand with online play, perhaps the timer system is the way to go. Other than that, I think the game is just fine.
I'm hoping this review is taken serious
This game could be stellar. It's off to an amazing start. The opening clips are nice, the effects of the menu sliders are cool but can be time consuming. The overall concept and ability to teach new players is pretty fricking rad. A couple main issues are there are places where the app will bug out and places where it down right takes forever to load (which is understandable). I think this game could easily be a 5 star review in anyone's hands if a little more love was put into it. Also, if I buy a deck it would be awesome to be able to scan the upc (or card I own, but I'm sure that would be difficult to manage as MTG players often hang out together, would have to be a way to scan a card and have it only be able to do it once which would would mean every card would need a unique ID) and have it available to use when I play. I have not bought the full version yet, but haven't decided yet if I want to. It seems like this game doesn't really have any priority for updates. Also in certain instances it seems the randomness of the cards I get are rigged according to how I'm playing. I'd rather this be as true to life as possible. I think if the company put the money into making this game as good as I could be and more user friendly it would help boost sails and increase the player community. If the app isn't 100% than its only hurting the possibility of what the game could be...a household name

Welcome to the 282nd edition of Android Apps Weekly! Here are the big headlines from the last week:
Facebook Dating is rolling out in the U.S. this week. The company announced a launch date before the end of 2019 and they delivered. People can opt-in to the feature on the official Facebook app if they want to try it out, but you may need to wait for it to arrive on your device first. There is also a Secret Crush feature. If you select a friend as a secret crush and they select you as one of theirs, a Facebook Messenger chat opens and lets you both know.
YouTube made a bunch of changes after a sizable FCC fine. The $170 million fine was for things like collecting personal data and showing personalized ads to kids under the age of 13. That’s a violation of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. The new changes remove comments from kids videos, removes personalized ads from kids videos, and it’ll treat all views on kids videos as being from kids.
Telltale Games is coming back! The popular game developer managed to fish itself out of oblivion and is even working on new games. Most of the company’s assets were purchased by LCG Entertainment and that helped the company resurface. We’ll let you know what they make when they launch it.
Google is bringing auto-play video ads (with sound) to the Play Store. This is one of the Internet’s most annoying practices and it’s a bit unfortunate for Play Store fans. The videos should help discoverability, although at the cost of being annoying. Those with Play Store videos also must remove monetization from them in order to be eligible for this new feature.
We conducted an interview with Sleeping Giant Games, the developers of Farm Punks. The studio talks about how to make it as an indie developer, how they came up with Farm Punks, and all kinds of other fun tidbits. Hit the link to read the interview!

端berliste
Price: Free
端berliste is a new grocery list app. It’s a good mixture of minimal and smart with a simple UI that anybody can use. The app has a database of items or you can add your own if you prefer. It also organizes your list into various grocery store categories for easy reference. You can also share lists with members of your household if you want to. Zero limits pdf. The app is entirely free with no ads, in-app purchases, or subscriptions.
Acron: Attack of the Squirrels
Price: Free
Acron: Attack of the Squirrels is a new VR game for multiple platforms. It has an Angry Birds style story line except replace the birds with squirrels and the pigs with trees. Squirrel players raid the tree for its acorns and the trees catch the squirrels and literally throw them to get them to go away. The game supports local multiplayer with both cooperative and competitive game modes. The game is also completely free to play as far as we can tell.
Magic: The Gathering Companion
Price: Free
Magic: The Gathering Companion is a companion app for the actual, physical version of Magic: The Gathering. Players can link their Wizard accounts and organize tournaments with up to 16 players. Additionally, you can save friend groups for quick setup later and it supports a variety of tournament types. You can set up Draft, Sealed, and Constructed formats. The developer also want to add more features, game types, and other stuff as development continues. It’s in Early Access beta right now, so expect some bugs if you try it out.
Sugar Blast
Price: Free to play
Sugar Blast is a new game from Rovio, developers of the Angry Birds franchise. It’s a simple puzzle game with match-three mechanics and colorful graphics. It’s family friendly and includes thousands of levels. Some of the other game features include various power-ups, limited events, and some social gaming elements as well. It’s obviously not the most original game in the genre, but people actually seem to like this one a lot compared to most others.
SpotWidget
Magic The Gathering For Android
Price: $1.99
SpotWidget is kind of a niche product. Spotify recently removed its widget option. This app wants to bring it back. It adds a simple widget to the home screen that lets you control Spotify. You can skip forward and back. There is also a play and pause button. The app is still quite buggy as it is obviously a very early release. However, the developers seem primed to work on it until it’s perfect. The app runs for $1.99 if you’re interested.
